Since 1958, Fresno State’s Geomatics Engineering Clubs have partnered with the surveying industry, the community, faculty and other Geomatics Engineering/Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing related businesses and agencies to host this annual celebration of the Surveying profession. By recognizing our past, present and future and connecting students to alumni, industry professionals and researchers, students will have the opportunity to discover the world of Geomatics Engineering through the eyes of the professional.
The conference focuses on a variety of areas such as:
Nearly 20 guest speakers from industry, government and academia will speak about a variety of topics. Numerous scholarships will be awarded to Lyles College of Engineering. More than $1 million in scholarships have been awarded at this annual conference over the years. Several vendors also will be exhibiting the latest technologies in GIS, surveying and more.

Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval has roots in Fowler, a city 15 minutes south of Fresno, and his commitment to the region and higher education form part of his personal mission to promote the region’s economic and cultural ascendency. Dr. Jiménez-Sandoval is an immigrant to the San Joaquin Valley, having arrived in the region from Mexico as a 10-year-old. He worked in his father’s small farm, and grew to appreciate the many cultures, languages and communities of the Valley.
We encourage students and professionals to come and network, learn from exhibitors, participate in raffles and auctions, and enjoy learning about the trends, developments, and the profession of Geomatics Engineering!
